the fundamentals of Indian life style or dharma say that fortune can not be changed. I took the word fortune in place of Karma. it is due to this that the karma attempted in previous births follow us in the form of Bhagya, the fortune.

INTRODUCTION TO THE WORK

Indian astrology is a much neglected discipline in one sense and wide spread in other. People know it as a tool to know the future and to alter the future but the originality of this subject is not a concern for them. Scholars preaching this subject or using the subject to fetch the bread are also not concerned with the revival of this subject. The perspective of the common man on this subject deals with a small fraction of this subject and major part of this subject is in dearth and is at the edge of disappearance. In this present work we tried to give the general outline of the total subject to create interest in the intellectuals and in the interest of the subject.

This work can be considered as a path finder to those who lost their way in search of proper way and guidance in this regard. We hope our small work may give way to usher into a new era and conceptual astrological society in its birth place.
